Do I have to set a price?
You can set a minimum price. But if you still get more senders than you can read, the price goes up on its own: senders compete for your reply, and you only see the top offer. The market finds what your attention is worth. You never have to guess.
When should I skip, and when should I reply?
Senders pay to be read, so the rule is simple. If you didn't read it, skip: they get a full refund. If you read it, reply, even if it's just "I read it, but I'm not interested." That's what they paid for, and it pays out. If you do nothing for 7 days, it counts as a skip.
What minimum should I set?
Whatever makes spam not worth it. $2 is enough for most people. If your inbox is famous, go higher. You can change it any time.
Where does the money go when I reply?
To you, or to a charity you pick. We take a 5% fee from the offer, and only when a reply is actually delivered. A $20 offer nets you $19.
Does this replace my email?
It can. For people in your contacts it works exactly like email. For everyone else, they attach money to prove their message is worth your time. If it is, add them to your contacts.
How do senders pay?
Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. The money is held in escrow until you reply or skip. Nobody, including us, can take it out.
How long until I get a reply?
Attaching money doesn't buy a fast reply, and that's on purpose. The clock starts when your message reaches the top of their inbox, not when you send it. Messages wait in a queue and the receiver reads one at a time, at their own pace. Once yours is delivered they have 7 days. No reply, full refund. You pay to be read, not for your ask to be done: "I read it, but I'm not interested" is a valid reply.
What about my friends and people I already know?
Your contacts write to you for free, as always. When a stranger turns out to be worth talking to, you can let them keep writing for free.
Can an AI agent write to me?
Same rules as a human: attach money or don't get read. That's the point. Filters can't tell a good agent from a spam bot. A price can.
Can I write to someone who hasn't signed up?
Yes, if we have a public email for them. Your money waits in escrow until they claim the inbox. If they never do, you get it back.
